Snapshots from the Paris Auto Show
Despite the downward trend in demand, continuous closures of automobile plants, huge layoffs and the entire world facing an economic slump, the automakers somehow managed to arouse excitement amongst the car lovers at the Auto Show held in Paris.
Several luxury carmakers have participated. Jaguar displayed the dazzling roadster whilst Mercedes-Benz and Porsche revealed some shooting brakes. Land Rover boasted off with the fourth Range Rover and BMW displayed its hybrid.
Ghost by Rolls Royce:
British Rolls Royce the famous luxury carmaker is going to display the widely gossiped and awe-inspiring, Ghost. Rolls-Royce has gone on to every extent to ensure the car’s uniqueness cladding it with both Jubilee Silver and Cobalt Blue exterior finish making it simply awe-inspiring.
Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV:
Mitsubishi is also proud of its brand new Outlander PHEV. The car is engineered to be a typical vehicle with an internal combustion-powered engine. IT will also have plug-in hybrid drive train components. Outlander PHEV has been installed with a 2-liter four-cylinder and two electric motors of 60 kWh.
Whereas McLaren went on to show off one of its most furious and extreme road cars, the P1. The car with its dashing looks and flame colors is simply jaw dropping. It has succeeded McLaren’s all time hit F1 from the 1990s. This sports car has a carbon-fiber shell exterior whose production version will be coming out next year at Geneva, Switzerland.
SLS AMG Electric Drive by Mercedes-Benz:
Mercedes-Benz will be displaying the 740 horsepower and 738 pound-feet of torque, SLS AMG Electric Drive at the show. This boomingly blue electric car will have an all-wheel-drive traction as it drives every wheel independently.Hence, the car is ideal for thrill seekers as it is super fast.
